If fear of failure holds you back, look at the action from a different angle.
Take the pressure out by giving it a different name.
Call it doodling. Call it training. Call it warming-up. Call it experimenting.
Experiments are a great, because they cannot fail. They always give you a result in accordance to the parameters, even if it is not the result you were hoping for.
Check the parameters. Tweak. Try again.

Look at the result from another angle.
Maybe you did not create what you expected. But there might be wonder in the unexpected.
