Shootingboard Pitch – “Elvis und der Mann mit dem roten Mantel”

This is my own little overnight pitch for the shootingboard project Elvis und der Mann mit dem roten Mantel – an animation of Ole Könnecke's illustrated book with the same name.

The story is a bit of a clichè, I know, but it was only to show that I'd master the illustration style. And it worked; I won the pitch, did the shootingboard (which turned into an animatic and then into key frames for the the final animation), and the little Christmas movie played in Germany in 2005.
